For the promising youngsters, the second Junior Grand Slam of the year is not only important to earn ITF Junior World Ranking points but also to earn the attention of the live audience and spectators from all across the globe by playing exciting and successful tennis. Many who excited the masses and triumphed on the red clay at a young age became professionals and even tennis legends afterwards. John McEnroe, Justie Henin, Ivan Lendl, Amelie Mauresmo, Henri Leconte, Martina Hingis or Mats Wilander – all of them once won the junior draws at Roland Garros.
