11th to 19th of November

The Abierto Junvelin Mexicano is one of the most important ITF Junior Tour events of the season and the most important ITF Junior tournament in Mexico. With a good placing or even the championship title, for some the door might open up to a later professional carrer on the ITF Pro Circuit. The tournament is one of only five ITF Grade A events, where players fight for the championship but also for a large amount of important ITF Junior World Ranking points, since these events carry the greatest ranking points on the Junior Circuit, beside the four Junior Grand Slams. The singles winners of the tournament will earn 250 points each, while the doubles winners will collect 180 points per player. Thereby, the talented prospects are not only given the chance to win a title and trophy, but also can really push forward in the ITF Junior World Rankings or even fortify their high rankings until the end of the season. Therefore, stakes are high, when some of the most talented players on the Junior Circuit will gather between November 11 and November 19 at the Centro Deportivo Chapultepec in Mexico City.

Qualifying play will already start on Saturday, November 11 until Sunday, November 12. The boys and girls doubles and singles main draws will start on Monday, November 13 and are scheduled to finish on Saturday, November 18 with both doubles finals and Saturday, November 19 with both singles finals.
