With tomorrow’s start of the Elite Tennis International QLD Junior Winter International in Caloundra, Australia, Tennis-Ticker proudly starts its official cooperation with Tennis Australia. Already in the 2015/2016 and the 2016/2017 season, Tennis-Ticker had provided live scores for the Australian Open Junior Championships Qualification play and the December Showdown, where Australia’s best players assemble at Tennis Australia’s headquarters at Melbourne Park to fight for the national title in their respective age groups. Tennis Australia was very excited about our technology and perfectly satisfied with our services. Therefore we now start this enhanced cooperation, which involves live scores for all ITF Junior events in Australia and all events of the December Showdown (eleven events in total), including the Australian Open Play-Off!

Francis Soyer of Tennis Australia about this cooperation:“We are impressed with the Tennis-Ticker Live Scoring System! It really helped running the December Showdown at Melbourne Park and the players loved it! Now we lock forward to having live scores for more and more events throughout the year.”

As tennis was established in Australia in the late 19th century, the sport started to organise nationally in 1904 with the founding of Tennis Australia’s predecessor, the Australasian Lawn Tennis Association. Today, roughly 2200 clubs are members of Tennis Australia, which is hosting the most important domestic and international tournaments on behalf of Australia, including the Australian Open and the Davis Cup for the Australian Davis Cup Team.

The team of Tennis-Ticker is very proud of this cooperation with yet another association of a “Grand Slam country” and one of the most prestigous tennis federations in the world!
